Fire Safety Matters Live is a free-to attend conference where 450+ delegates will be able to network, see the latest industry products and enjoy CPD accredited seminars - Including an opening address from the government. On the main stage, Fire Safety Matters magazine will deliver its own conference, which will feature leading industry figures sharing best practice, case studies and legislative updates. FSM Live will attract 300+ attendees to deliver an audience that includes end-users, consultants, risk assessors, installers and insurers.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet representatives from SSAIB and BAFE, organisations that work closely together to support and promote high standards across the fire and security industry.
SSAIB and BAFE collaborate extensively to help ensure consistent, robust certification and accreditation frameworks that give confidence to end users, specifiers, and enforcing authorities. This close working relationship supports best practice, competence, and compliance across fire detection, alarm, suppression, and security disciplines.
SSAIB audits and supports a range of BAFE Schemes, BAFE SP203-1, SP203-4, SP205, SP101, and SP207, helping organisations demonstrate competence and compliance across key areas of fire safety. At the event, SSAIB’s fire certification experts will be on hand to explain the various BAFE Schemes we assess against, and to talk through individual certification requirements. Whether attendees are looking to achieve certification for the first time or expand into additional schemes, our team will be available to provide practical guidance tailored to their business needs.
Throughout the event, experts from both SSAIB and BAFE will be available to talk with, offering guidance on certification, third-party accreditation, and current industry and regulatory developments. Attendees can also discuss technical queries, scheme requirements, and how working with recognised certification bodies can help businesses demonstrate professionalism and trust.
We look forward to engaging with industry professionals, celebrating excellence, and supporting an event that recognises innovation and best practice across the fire safety and security sectors.
The event will take place at Kempton Park Racecourse on 3rd March 2026
