In 2026, SSAIB will be continuing to promote the importance of using an SSAIB certified firm, reinforcing our ongoing commitment to raising standards and supporting best practice across the industry. The ATLAS 2026 Official Police Security Initiative Event on 24th-25th February will be our first event of 2026 where this will be taking place. The ATLAS SBD event brings together key stakeholders involved in designing out crime and improving security within the built environment. SSAIB's presence at the event provides an important opportunity to highlight the value of third-party certification and the role that SSAIB certified firms play in delivering compliant, competent, and reliable security solutions. Throughout the event, SSAIB representatives will engage with various end users to promote the benefits of choosing an SSAIB certified firm. Some of these benefits being, independently assessed competence, adherence to recognised standards, and increased confidence for clients and stakeholders.
