SSAIB offers certification for organisations operating monitoring centres and control rooms across a range of security, fire and safety applications.

Our monitoring schemes include:

  • Alarm Receiving Centres (ARCs)
  • Remote Video Response Centres (RVRCs)
  • Secure Operating Centres (SOCs)
  • Lone worker monitoring

Monitoring centres play a critical role in receiving, verifying and processing alarm activations before initiating an appropriate response. This may include contacting keyholders, security personnel, the police, fire and rescue services or other response providers.
